1. Momo Gets Dumped

Inside the classroom, Momo cried over being dumped. Her two best friends asked, “What was so great about Madun anyway?”

Momo replied that Madun was incredibly manly, just like the Japanese actor Ken Takakura. Imitating Takakura’s mannerisms, Momo delivered his signature line: “I am a clumsy man.”

Her two friends brushed it off, casually telling her that men like Ken Takakura were practically extinct.

2. Momo Helps Okarun

Momo trudged down the hall until she stopped outside a classroom. Looking in, she watched Okarun quietly reading a book, even as several students relentlessly pelted him with wadded paper.

Momo walked in and sat down gracefully, turning her back to Okarun while glaring at his three bullies. She then glanced back at Okarun, flipped open a page of his book, and asked softly, “What are you reading?”

Okarun froze in silence.

Seeing that the bullies had finally stopped throwing paper, Momo stood up and walked away, leaving the classroom behind.

3. Momo & Okarun’s Wager

As Momo walked down the school corridor, Okarun suddenly intercepted her. With his back turned to her, he confidently stated that he knew she liked him. Momo flatly corrected him, clarifying that he had the wrong idea and she had zero intention of being his friend.

Okarun then opened his book to the page Momo had touched earlier, which detailed UFOs and aliens. Momo admitted she didn’t believe in either. Growing persistent, Okarun tried to pique her interest by explaining U.A.P.s—unidentified aerial phenomena officially recognized by the US military. He concluded that Japan and America were actively preparing for an interstellar war.

Momo called him out for aggressively forcing the topic. She told him his behavior was obnoxious and exactly the reason he had no friends. She then walked away, warning him not to act overly familiar with her.

Seeing Okarun look so crestfallen that he dropped his book, Momo stopped. She turned around, picked up the book, and handed it back, apologizing for crossing a line with her words.

Momo reiterated that she didn’t believe in aliens, but noted that she did believe in ghosts. Okarun laughed, admitting he didn’t believe in ghosts at all. Annoyed, Momo fired back, “Have you ever actually ridden in a UFO with an alien?” A petty squabble broke out, and the two began playing tug-of-war with the book as Okarun tried to take it back and Momo refused to let go.

Momo visited Naki Hospital, an old, long-abandoned building. Terrified, she wandered the dark grounds alone, clutching her smartphone and staying on the line with Okarun. He warned her that if someone summoned a UFO on a rooftop, they could be abducted and used for alien experiments. Momo brushed it off and asked how his end of the dare was going.

As it turned out, Okarun was conducting his own investigation. He stood at the entrance of a notorious haunted tunnel, preparing to go in while holding his phone to talk to Momo. Okarun asked, “Why do you believe in ghosts if you’ve never actually seen one?”

Momo explained that her grandmother was a spirit medium. She recounted a story from her childhood: every time she left the house—especially for school—her grandmother forced her to perform a warding gesture. It involved placing one hand on her head while pointing her thumb and index finger upward to form an “L” shape.

Because of this, Momo was frequently mocked by her classmates, including Jiji, a boy she had a crush on. After school, her grandmother would remind her that projecting her ki could protect her from evil people. She taught Momo how to channel the energy: drawing power from the lower abdomen and visualizing the ki flowing out through the crown of her head. Momo, however, rebelled. She declared she would never do it again and even called her grandmother a fake medium.

Ultimately, Momo admitted that she didn’t just hate Jiji’s teasing. What truly hurt was watching the boy she liked mock the teachings of her grandmother—the only person who had raised her single-handedly since childhood.

5. Okarun Attacked by the Turbo Granny

Momo explained to Okarun that she believed in ghosts out of respect for her grandmother’s profession, as working as a medium was how she had provided for them.

“What about you?” Momo asked. “Why do you believe in aliens?” Okarun answered simply that he didn’t need a reason to like something. Momo couldn’t argue with that.

Suddenly, the ghost of the Turbo Granny materialized right in front of Okarun. Wearing a horrifying expression, she declared that she wanted to “eat his sausage.” Panicking, Okarun sprinted away, running for his life to escape the tunnel.

Over the phone, Momo warned him that if he lost a footrace against the Turbo Granny, he would be cursed. Unfortunately, despite initially trailing far behind, the Turbo Granny closed the gap in a flash and captured him. Okarun screamed hysterically, paralyzed with sheer terror.

6. Momo Ayase Abducted by Aliens

Momo began to panic when Okarun stopped answering her calls after his bloodcurdling scream. She hurried out of the hospital, intending to rush to his location. Out of nowhere, three aliens resembling middle-aged men blocked her path. Momo tried to flee, but they quickly overpowered and captured her.

Inside a UFO, Momo woke up confined to a chair, her hands and feet tightly bound. The three aliens stood before her, introducing themselves as beings from Planet Serpo. They explained that their entire race was male and relied exclusively on cloning to reproduce.

Then, they revealed their twisted motive—propositioning Momo with lewd demands. They openly shared their plan to harvest “clams” and “sausages” from humans for research purposes.

Momo fiercely rejected them. She declared that even though she had dated her share of scumbags, the sacred seal of her “clam” remained unbroken. She swore she would only give it to Ken Takakura, not some disgusting aliens. Provoked by her refusal, the Serpians activated their psychokinesis, attempting to hack her brainwaves and induce a state of heavenly ecstasy.

7. Turbo Granny vs. Aliens

Suddenly, Momo’s smartphone rang from where it lay on the floor. The noise interrupted the aliens, halting their assault on Momo.

As one of the aliens stepped forward to inspect the phone, the Turbo Granny abruptly burst out from the screen. She instantly bit off the alien’s “sausage,” sending him flying backward.

Meanwhile, Okarun began to regain consciousness. Half of his face was visible, though the rest of his body had mutated to resemble the Turbo Granny now possessing him. He weakly told Momo that he finally believed ghosts were real—and that he was currently cursed by one.

Unfortunately, the Turbo Granny quickly wrested back control of Okarun’s body. The two remaining aliens shed their middle-aged human disguises, transforming into horrifying monsters. They unleashed their psychokinesis, attempting to lock the Turbo Granny down.

But the Turbo Granny was too fast. She bit the second alien’s “sausage,” instantly paralyzing him. The third alien, however, managed to deflect her incoming attack using his psychic powers. Okarun was thrown aside, incapacitated. With a cold stare, the third alien demanded that Okarun surrender his “sausage.”

Defeated and crestfallen, Okarun agreed to give it up. He confessed that since childhood, he had always wanted to meet aliens and befriend them because he had no friends among humans. When he was in elementary school, he even screamed at the sky, hoping a UFO would come—but no aliens ever appeared. He vented his frustration, feeling completely forsaken by both humanity and extraterrestrials.

Yet, for Okarun, Momo was the only person who had ever acknowledged his existence, proving it when she stood up for him in class. His confession left Momo deeply moved. Okarun firmly declared that he would never forgive anyone who dared to hurt her.

8. Momo Ayase’s Esper Powers Awaken

Seeing Okarun beginning to revert to the Turbo Granny’s form, the third alien fired a psychokinetic blast to weaken his body. The alien then resumed his ritual on Momo, trying to control her brainwaves to force the heavenly ecstasy. Once again, Momo found herself helpless.

In that desperate moment, Momo remembered her grandmother’s teachings: to awaken spiritual energy, one had to draw power from the lower abdomen and channel it out through the top of the head. Astonishingly, Momo broke free from the holographic cage and snapped the restraints binding her wrists and ankles.

The third alien was stunned. He realized Momo was physically pushing back against his psychokinesis, deducing that her chakras had been forcefully opened due to her brainwaves being hyper-stimulated.

At that exact second, Momo finally believed her grandmother was a true spirit medium. Surging with power, Momo delivered a devastating kick to the third alien, launching him straight through the UFO’s hull and sending him flying into the distance.

9. How to Break the Curse

Momo gasped upon seeing Okarun still locked in his Turbo Granny mutation. Suddenly, he lunged, pinning her to the ground. Acting quickly, Momo struck a vital energy point on Okarun’s head, forcing the Turbo Granny’s spirit out of his body.

The Turbo Granny appeared shocked at being violently expelled. Momo was equally stunned to realize the curse hadn’t fully lifted, as Okarun’s body continued to convulse wildly.

The Turbo Granny gloated, explaining that she had already stolen Okarun’s “sausage.” As long as she kept it, the curse could never be broken. She challenged Momo and Okarun to come back to the haunted tunnel if they wanted to retrieve it, warning them that within the tunnel, she could unleash her full power in battle. Having issued her ultimatum, the Turbo Granny vanished.

The UFO plummeted, crashing into the earth. Momo quickly pulled Okarun from the wreckage, laid him flat on the ground, and sat before him. She confessed that she now believed in aliens, having just survived an abduction; Okarun admitted he believed in ghosts, having just been cursed by one.

Momo warned Okarun that the Turbo Granny’s curse would completely retake his body if she didn’t actively suppress it with the esper powers she was currently channeling into him.

10. Ken Takakura

Okarun slowly pushed himself to his feet. He took full responsibility for the disaster and resolved to face the Turbo Granny in the tunnel alone to break the curse. He didn’t want Momo dragged any deeper into the danger.

Momo, however, asked why he wasn’t inviting her along. She told him to stop hesitating to ask for help, pointing out that acting overly reserved just made things more annoying. She firmly stated that she was already involved and refused to just stand by.

As the two of them walked down a quiet street in the dead of night, Okarun suddenly rubbed the back of his neck and mumbled, “Sorry, I am a clumsy man.” Momo felt a jolt in her chest—her heart pounded wildly, even though she knew Okarun had unwittingly recited the signature line of her idol, Ken Takakura.

Staring at him, Momo asked, “By the way, what’s your real name?”

Okarun replied, “Ken Takakura.”

Momo’s heart practically exploded—a feeling perfectly mirrored by the wrecked UFO that suddenly detonated in the sky behind her—the exact moment she heard his answer.
