She then asked why a former assassin like him was visiting her clinic. Sakamoto replied that she was the only one who could heal Shin. Still lying facedown, Shin told Shaotang that his body already felt fully recovered and incredibly light.

Sakamoto explained to Shin and Shaotang that Granny Miya was a master acupuncturist, famous in the underworld. No matter how severe a battle injury, it could be healed through the therapy of the woman known as the “Owner of the God Hands.” Overhearing this, Granny Miya casually added, “As long as they aren’t dead yet.”

2. The Power to See the Future

Afterward, Granny Miya ordered Sakamoto into a private room for a checkup, noting it had been a long time since they last met. Sakamoto lay facedown on the bed.

While massaging his back, Granny Miya touched Sakamoto’s pressure point of anger and instantly deduced his intentions. She knew he was dead set on unleashing his fury upon the remaining death row inmates after what they had done to Shin and Shaotang.

Recovering, Sakamoto stood back up and took his leave once more, asking her to look after Shaotang and Shin while they rested at the clinic.

4. Nagumo Disguises Himself as Aoi

At the convenience store, Minimalist choked Aoi with one hand, demanding to know Sakamoto’s whereabouts as she grimaced in pain. Moving quickly, Aoi struck Minimalist’s arm, breaking his grip. Her right hand instantly yanked his hair back while her left plunged a knife into his neck.

Minimalist collapsed to his knees on the floor. Gasping for air, he demanded to know who this “Aoi” truly was. In a flash, Aoi’s disguise dissolved, revealing Nagumo.

With a teasing tone, Nagumo quipped, “No wonder you’re still alive. The knife I shoved into your neck was just a toy.” Minimalist suddenly realized the man standing before him was Nagumo, an S-rank assassin and one of his prime targets.

Nagumo casually mentioned that he was just working his shift as a cashier. A flashback showed Sakamoto asking Nagumo to watch the store during a recent visit. Sakamoto had tasked him with protecting Aoi and Hana while he and Heisuke went to check on Shaotang and Shin.

Though he initially refused, Nagumo eventually accepted the job after Sakamoto reminded him of an old debt. Sakamoto even agreed to Nagumo’s demand to be paid an hourly wage as a cashier.

5. Heisuke Finds Apart

At Tokyo Tower, Heisuke stepped onto the glass floor observation deck and spotted Apart walking far below. Heisuke fired his rifle directly through the glass, shattering it. The bullet plummeted straight toward Apart. However, Apart swiftly caught it using the razor-sharp threads wrapped around his palms.

Like Spider-Man, Apart used his threads to swing and launch himself rapidly up the side of Tokyo Tower, breaching the floor where Heisuke stood. Panicking, Heisuke scrambled backward in terror and fired his rifle toward the tower’s base. To his horror, he realized his gun had already been sliced into pieces by Apart’s threads.

Approaching Heisuke, Apart mused that he loved threads because they perfectly symbolized human connections. He then whipped his threads forward, tightly binding Heisuke’s body and arms, rendering him completely immobile.

Suddenly, the elevator doors slid open, revealing Sakamoto. Without a word, he punched Apart square in the face, sending him flying backward. Sakamoto then held up a pair of chopsticks firmly gripping Heisuke’s bullet. “Sorry to keep you waiting,” he said.

As it turned out, right before his rifle was destroyed, Heisuke had managed to fire a shot down at Sakamoto, who happened to be walking beneath Tokyo Tower. Heisuke had trusted that Sakamoto would catch his desperate signal.

6. Nagumo Mimics Minimalist’s Appearance

Back at the convenience store, Minimalist threw a punch at Nagumo, but the assassin vanished with blinding speed. An instant later, Nagumo reappeared, crouching casually atop a snack shelf right behind him.

Nagumo had even managed to pickpocket Minimalist’s phone. Scrolling through it, he noted with disappointment that Slur’s contact info wasn’t there. Minimalist was bewildered as to how his phone had been snatched so easily. Nagumo simply teased that he left himself too wide open.

Furious, Minimalist hurled the entire shelf at Nagumo, but was left confused again when his target vanished into thin air. Opening the transparent glass door of the beverage cooler, Minimalist saw his own reflection and assumed it was just a trick of the light on the glass.

However, that figure was actually Nagumo, who had flawlessly mimicked his appearance. Instantly, Nagumo grabbed Minimalist by the throat. Reverting to his normal form, he hoisted his choking opponent effortlessly into the air with a single hand.

7. Nagumo Defeats Minimalist

Nagumo slammed Minimalist’s body hard onto the floor. Opening his bag, he pulled out his signature weapon. With a condescending tone, Nagumo offered to let Minimalist choose his own method of execution.

He explained that his weapon possessed six different functions, and he was getting bored of killing people the exact same way. Nagumo then told him to pick a number between one and six.

Feeling deeply insulted, Minimalist threw a punch at Nagumo, who dodged it effortlessly. Nagumo then revealed a six-sided die in his palm, declaring that this little trinket would make the choice for him.

In a flash, the die vanished from his hand like a magic trick. Suddenly, Minimalist felt something hard in his mouth. He stuck out his tongue to find the die resting on it, displaying the number three.

Out of nowhere, Nagumo materialized directly behind him, perched casually on Minimalist’s shoulders. He explained that number three was the “giant can opener,” pressing the bladed mechanism firmly against Minimalist’s throat. In a matter of seconds, the weapon cleanly decapitated him, popping his head off like a tin can lid. With that, Nagumo had successfully eliminated his target.

8. Sakamoto Cannot Lose Weight

At Tokyo Tower, Apart whipped out his threads, coiling them tightly around Sakamoto’s right leg. Apart pulled fiercely, fully expecting the razor-sharp wires to slice through the limb, but was shocked when they didn’t. The forceful yank still managed to sweep Sakamoto off his feet, dragging him violently across the floor toward Apart.

Sakamoto quickly grabbed a nearby display table and swatted a handful of miniature Tokyo Tower souvenirs, hurling them like projectiles at Apart. Moving nimbly, Apart wove a cat’s cradle pattern with his threads to block the incoming trinkets. Using the distraction, Sakamoto broke free from the snare and scrambled to his feet.

Shin asked if transforming into his skinny mode would solve Sakamoto’s problem. Granny Miya shook her head, stating that Sakamoto actually needed to learn how to adapt to his heavier body.

According to her, Sakamoto fundamentally misunderstood his own physical condition. That was precisely why he recklessly burned off all his calories to instantly slim down during combat.

Tourists riding an adjacent glass-paneled elevator to the top of Tokyo Tower shrieked in horror as two men plummeted right past their window.

Freefalling through the sky, Sakamoto rained a relentless barrage of punches down upon Apart. Finally, one earth-shattering blow struck dead center, driving Apart’s body into Tokyo Tower’s iconic red steel framework with enough force to snap one of its heavy support beams. The two combatants crashed violently, coming to a halt atop the tower’s sprawling steel lattice.
