1. Kakashi vs. Sasuke

Kakashi and Sasuke faced off. In a flash, Sasuke lunged forward with a right kick. Kakashi swiftly blocked it with his left arm, immediately gripping Sasuke’s ankle with his right hand. Unrelenting, Sasuke threw a heavy left punch, but Kakashi reacted just as fast, catching the fist with his free hand.

Refusing to back down, Sasuke twisted his body and swung his left leg at Kakashi’s head. Yet again, Kakashi blocked the strike with his left arm, effectively locking both of Sasuke’s legs in place. Spotting a brief opening, Sasuke reached for the bells hanging at Kakashi’s waist, but the Jonin leaned back just in time, narrowly evading his grasp.

2. Sakura Faints

Sasuke then unleashed a fireball jutsu from his mouth straight at Kakashi. However, the Jonin vanished. Panic set in as Sasuke realized his target was nowhere in sight. A moment later, Kakashi’s hand burst from beneath the earth, seizing Sasuke’s ankle and dragging him straight down. Sasuke was left buried alive and completely immobilized, with only his head exposed above the dirt.

Shortly after, Sakura sprinted past and discovered Sasuke in this state. Seeing only his head resting on the ground, she assumed he had actually been decapitated. The gruesome illusion sent Sakura into deep shock, and she immediately fainted.

3. A Single Rule

After they failed to secure a bell by noon, Kakashi bluntly suggested that Team 7 quit trying to be ninja. He stated that their failure stemmed from an absolute inability to work together. The two bells were merely a test to see if they could prioritize teamwork over their own selfish goals, even when deliberately placed under divisive pressure.

However, he offered them one final chance to retake the test after lunch. Kakashi allowed Sakura and Sasuke to eat the bento boxes he had prepared, but strictly forbade them from sharing a single bite with Naruto.

Kakashi warned that anyone who broke this rule would be instantly disqualified. This was Naruto’s punishment for being caught red-handed trying to steal the lunches earlier, an act that had left him securely tied to a tree.

Once Kakashi was gone, Sasuke took the initiative to feed Naruto. He reasoned that a starving Naruto would only be a burden when they eventually teamed up to take the bells from Kakashi. Unwilling to let Sasuke give up his own strength, Sakura offered her lunch as well, even feeding Naruto herself.

Suddenly, Kakashi materialized before Team 7, feigning intense fury over their disobedience. But instead of punishing them, he declared that Team 7 had officially passed. He explained that had they actually followed his orders and refused to feed Naruto, the entire team would have failed immediately.
