1. Inari Rallies the Village

Inari knocked on Giichi’s door, urging him to head to the bridge and help the Konoha ninja fight Gato’s men. Without opening the door, Giichi replied that he was simply too afraid to face Gato.

Unwavering, Inari firmly declared that he would fight Gato anyway. Afterward, the boy scoured the town, knocking on every door, but not a single villager opened their home to join the resistance.

2. Haku’s Death

Meanwhile, Haku begged Naruto to kill him. Resolving to end it, Naruto charged forward. However, just as he was about to thrust his kunai, Haku caught Naruto’s wrist and vanished into thin air.

Elsewhere, Kakashi sprinted forward, preparing to strike Zabuza with his Raikiri (Lightning Blade). Suddenly, Haku materialized right in the technique’s path, taking the fatal blow straight through his chest. Thanks to Haku’s sacrifice, Zabuza’s life was spared.

Without hesitation, Zabuza swung his massive sword, aiming to cleave through Kakashi and Haku’s lifeless body all at once. Reacting instantly, Kakashi leaped backward, carrying Haku’s body safely out of the blade’s deadly arc.

3. Sakura’s Tears

Back at Tazuna’s house, Tsunami forbade Inari from going to the bridge alone. Clutching a crossbow, Inari told her that even though he was just a kid, as Kaiza’s son, he already knew how to fight.

Tsunami was stunned to see Inari wearing a smile that mirrored Kaiza’s perfectly. Stepping outside, Inari was shocked to find a group of armed villagers already waiting for him.

Back on the bridge, Sakura asked Naruto about Sasuke’s condition. She recoiled at Naruto’s devastated expression; he couldn’t bring himself to utter a single word. Sakura immediately grabbed Tazuna and rushed over to where Sasuke lay.

Seeing Sasuke’s seemingly lifeless state, Sakura assumed he had been killed in the battle against Haku. She broke down in hysterical tears right on the battlefield, and her agonizing sobs placed a heavy, crushing weight on Naruto’s heart.

4. Kakashi Defeats Zabuza

Elsewhere, Kakashi knelt and gently laid Haku’s body on the ground. At that moment, Zabuza charged, preparing to slash Kakashi with his sword. Kakashi swiftly retaliated, kicking Zabuza square in the face and knocking him backward. Following up with blistering speed, Kakashi drove two kunai deep into Zabuza’s left arm.

Moving behind his opponent, Kakashi gripped Zabuza by the neck, coldly stating that in his current condition, it was impossible for the assassin to win.

Desperate, Zabuza swung his sword backward in a blind attempt to strike Kakashi. Reacting instantly, Kakashi drove two more kunai directly into Zabuza’s right arm mid-swing. The injury instantly sapped the momentum of the slash. Though Kakashi was briefly pushed back by the weight of Zabuza’s arm, the massive sword slipped from the assassin’s grip and went flying.

Kakashi then firmly pointed out that both of Zabuza’s arms were now completely immobilized, leaving him unable to cast a single jutsu.
