Tokimitsu began to panic and overthink, concluding that someone as supremely confident as Barou must have never experienced a single moment of pessimism in his entire life. Annoyed by the assumption, Barou grabbed Tokimitsu by the collar and declared that he would be the one marking him.

Meanwhile, Nagi refused Isagi’s request to switch marking targets with Barou. Nagi was dead set on facing Rin himself, driven by his sheer determination to become the number one player. Isagi warned Nagi that if he lost his duel, Isagi would be the one forced to deal with Rin.

Bachira realized Isagi had read his movement perfectly. He was certain Isagi was scanning the entire pitch to dictate his positioning. Isagi wasn’t just focusing on the isolated 1-on-1 duel in front of him; he was defending holistically, leaving absolutely no space for Bachira to slip through.

Bachira also noticed that Nagi, positioned slightly behind Isagi, was acting as a safety net in case Isagi was too slow to track back on defense.

Barou attempted a brutal body charge to throw Tokimitsu off balance, but was shocked to find he couldn’t move him an inch, even while using his full strength. Tokimitsu’s dense, muscular frame absorbed Barou’s assault without flinching.

While still physically clashing with Barou, Tokimitsu executed a rapid one-touch pass toward the center, dropping the ball just outside the penalty box. Rin was already sprinting to meet it. Isagi panicked—Rin had just entered his lethal shooting zone.

5. Isagi Yoichi vs. Itoshi Rin
