1. Luffy Attacks Boodle

Nami informed Zoro and Luffy that she planned to steal all of Buggy’s treasure, including the map to the Grand Line.

Meanwhile, Boodle warned Luffy not to interfere in his fight against Buggy. Instead, Luffy shoved Boodle’s head, slamming it into a wall and knocking him completely unconscious.

Seeing this, Nami scolded Luffy, arguing that there had to be another way to stop the mayor without knocking him out cold.

On the other side, Buggy ordered his men to fire the cannon. The cannonball launched with devastating force.

Luffy quickly manipulated his body, inflating his torso like a balloon to catch the heavy projectile, before rebounding it straight back at Buggy’s base.

Buggy and his crew panicked. A moment later, the explosion completely obliterated their newly established hideout.

2. Cabaji vs. Zoro

Buggy emerged from the rubble completely unharmed, having survived by using two of his own men as human shields. Shortly after, Cabaji approached his captain, requesting permission to finish Luffy off.

Using his acrobatic skills, Cabaji sped forward on a unicycle, ready to skewer Luffy with his sword. However, Zoro swiftly drew his own blade and parried the strike.

Zoro challenged Cabaji to a sword fight. Without hesitation, Cabaji blew a stream of fire from his mouth straight at Zoro’s face. While Zoro was distracted defending himself, Cabaji exploited the opening, kicking him squarely in his open stomach wound. Zoro groaned in agony and collapsed to the ground.

Slowly, Zoro forced himself back to his feet. Cabaji prepared to thrust his sword directly into Zoro’s wound once more. This time, Zoro deliberately let the blade slice into his injured stomach. Fixing Cabaji with a piercing glare, Zoro asked if he was finally satisfied attacking someone’s weak point.

The two faced off once again. Cabaji launched a barrage of spinning tops at his opponent, but Zoro calmly sliced them all to pieces.

Relentless, Cabaji accelerated his unicycle, preparing to unleash his ultimate sword technique. In response, Zoro executed his Three-Sword Style: Oni Giri. With one lightning-fast slash, Cabaji was cut down and defeated.

The battle won, Zoro finally collapsed to the dirt. With a weakened voice, he asked Luffy for permission to go to sleep.

3. Nami Steals Buggy’s Treasure

Meanwhile, Nami successfully infiltrated Buggy’s base and located the pirate crew’s treasure vault. Inside, she also discovered a small chest containing the map to the Grand Line.

She soon slipped out of the hideout, dragging a massive sack filled with all of Buggy’s loot.

Elsewhere, Luffy and Buggy finally faced off, ready to begin their fight. Buggy detached one of his hands, gripping three daggers, and successfully slashed Luffy’s face.

Luffy fell to the ground. He was furious when he realized his straw hat had been torn by Buggy’s attack. Boiling with anger, Luffy cursed at Buggy, declaring that the straw hat was his most treasured possession.

From nearby, Nami secretly watched their showdown. Stealthily, Buggy flew his detached hand around behind Luffy. Gripping the three daggers, the rogue hand slashed directly into the straw hat Luffy was holding, severely damaging it.

4. Buggy Insults Luffy’s Straw Hat

Buggy then snatched the hat away. With a condescending sneer, he mocked the battered straw hat that Luffy claimed as his treasure.

Enraged, Luffy demanded that Buggy stop laughing at the hat Shanks had given him. Buggy was stunned to learn the hat belonged to Shanks, revealing to Luffy that the two of them were old friends.

However, the mere memory of Shanks only angered Buggy further. In a fit of spite, he stomped on the straw hat. Seeing this, Luffy’s fury peaked. He charged at Buggy, winding up as if to punch him squarely in the face.

Buggy immediately detached his head, sending it flying out of harm’s way. But Luffy’s punch was just a feint. Instead, he delivered a brutal kick straight to Buggy’s groin, sending the captain collapsing to the dirt.

Standing over him, Luffy demanded that Buggy tell him about Shanks. Dripping with hatred, Buggy declared that he would never forgive Shanks for as long as he lived.
