1. Haku Saves Naruto

Zabuza hurled four shuriken at a defenseless Naruto, who had no time to dodge. However, Haku swiftly threw a volley of needles, deflecting the lethal blades and saving the boy’s life. He then turned to Zabuza, declaring that he would handle Naruto and Sasuke himself.

Zabuza scoffed, remarking that Haku was still too soft. Sasuke realized the truth in this; his own injuries showed that Haku had deliberately avoided targeting any vital organs.

Naruto angrily accused Haku of being a fraud—a fake who wore a Kirigakure Anbu mask to pose as a tracker ninja. Unfazed, Haku calmly replied that deceiving enemies and striking them when their guard is down is simply the duty of a shinobi.

Seizing the moment while Haku was distracted by Naruto, Sasuke threw a kunai, but Haku evaded it effortlessly.

2. Naruto’s Foolishness

Haku retreated into the Ice Mirrors, instantly unleashing a barrage of pinpoint needles that struck Sasuke. Overwhelmed by the pain, Sasuke collapsed to the ground.

He quickly realized that their only chance of defeating Haku was through teamwork—Sasuke would attack from within the mirrors, while Naruto attacked from the outside.

However, to Sasuke’s absolute shock, Naruto suddenly slipped inside the dome and popped up right in front of him, proudly announcing that he had come to help. Furious, Sasuke lashed out, calling Naruto a complete idiot.

He sharply reminded him that if he was truly a shinobi, he needed to think carefully and act with strategic consideration.

3. Ice Mirror Jutsu

Sasuke then unleashed his Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu (Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu), spewing a massive blast of flames from his mouth at the Ice Mirrors. However, Haku explained that ordinary fire could never melt his creation. A moment later, Haku fired a storm of needles that struck both Naruto and Sasuke simultaneously, dropping them to the floor.

Naruto summoned his Kage Bunshin (Shadow Clones) to flush out Haku’s real body, ordering them to attack every reflection simultaneously. But Haku moved with blinding speed, darting from mirror to mirror and striking down every single clone until none remained.

Haku then explained that his jutsu utilized the mirrors to transport his body at incredible speeds. Compared to him, Naruto and Sasuke were moving in slow motion.

4. A True Shinobi

Outside the dome, Kakashi realized that Haku possessed a Kekkei Genkai—a unique, uncopyable ability passed down exclusively through a clan’s bloodline from generation to generation.

Inside, Naruto fiercely declared that he refused to die in this fight, because he still had a dream of becoming Hokage. Haku replied that walking the path of a shinobi was never easy.

If given the choice, he did not want to kill Naruto and Sasuke, nor did he want to die by their hands. However, he had to cast aside his feelings and fight as a true shinobi.

Haku concluded by stating that this bridge was the battlefield that would connect them to their respective dreams.
