1. Obiguro Enjoys His Fight with Shaotang
Shin, still strapped to the bed, admits he was genuinely terrified he was going to die. However, Shaotang manages to land several strikes on Obiguro in under ten seconds.
Afterward, Shaotang chugs another bottle of sake. Growing aggressive, Obiguro launches a flurry of attacks, but she nimbly dodges them and even lands a clean kick to his chin.
Impressed by her skills, Obiguro challenges her to fight seriously, urging her to try and kill him. Shaotang firmly refuses, stating that killing violates the Sakamoto family rules. Obiguro mocks her, calling her a fool for considering Sakamoto “family” when his real family is just a tiny three-person unit.
Furious, Shaotang catches Obiguro’s next kick with ease. She fires back that, as a Chinese immigrant, she managed to operate a Japanese cash register the moment she arrived, proving she is no idiot.
She then winds up for a devastating punch to Obiguro’s face. Caught off guard, Obiguro realizes he can’t dodge it in time. But against all expectations, Shaotang’s fist lands softly on his cheek. Suddenly snapping out of her drunken stupor, she looks around in confusion, wondering where she is, who the man in front of her is, and what is happening to Shin.
Initially enraged by being let off the hook, Obiguro suddenly bursts into joyful laughter. He admits it’s been a long time since he felt truly cornered and excitedly hugs Shaotang. “I love strong people! You gave me goosebumps!” he cheers.
Meanwhile, Shin—still tied to the bed with a henchman revving a chainsaw next to him—can only stare in utter bewilderment. “So… does this mean I’m saved?” he asks.
2. Sakamoto Beats Boiled to a Pulp
Boiled claims he doesn’t care about the trick behind Sakamoto’s sudden weight loss. He challenges Sakamoto to end the fight quickly, certain that his family is currently in grave danger. Sakamoto remains calm, stating he isn’t worried because he has people he can trust.
Suddenly, Sakamoto crosses the distance in an instant and punches Boiled squarely in the face. The blow sends Boiled crashing through a brick wall, launching both men into the air.
Landing on the street, Sakamoto delivers a brutal kick to Boiled’s face, followed by a relentless barrage of strikes that leaves him no room to counter. Their fists clash, and the sheer force of Sakamoto’s punch shatters Boiled’s RDP gloves into pieces. Sakamoto continues his assault, pushing Boiled to the brink.
Desperate, Boiled throws a cluster of SBB explosives, but Sakamoto effortlessly catches them all. He then punches Boiled with a fist full of the live bombs, creating a massive explosion that blasts Boiled backward.
Lying on the street, Boiled is astounded by Sakamoto’s lingering strength despite his retirement. Sakamoto acknowledges Boiled’s strength, but explains that while he once used his power only to hurt others, he now uses it to protect his family—and that is the true source of his strength.
Boiled forces himself to stand, but Sakamoto immediately lands one final, devastating blow. The impact sends them both flying like rockets until they crash into a Ferris wheel gondola, where they end up sitting across from each other. Battered and completely defeated, Boiled lights a cigarette and accepts his loss.
3. Aoi Discovers the Bounty
Exhausted, Aoi, Hana, Shaotang, and Shin fall asleep on a park bench. Aoi wakes Shin, wondering how they ended up there after being in the haunted house. Shin lies, explaining that the scares tired them out so much they fell asleep. He then hastily excuses himself to look for Sakamoto.
Meanwhile, Boiled follows Sakamoto as he buys some meat buns. Boiled formally concedes defeat and promises never to bother him again, but Sakamoto is too busy enjoying his food to listen.
“Is it good?” Boiled asks. Without hesitation, Sakamoto hands his half-eaten bun to Boiled, who takes a bite. Sakamoto explains that he actually bought the buns for his family, making Boiled realize that Sakamoto truly puts his loved ones above all else.
Shortly after, Shin arrives and is shocked to find Sakamoto back to his slim physique, quickly snapping a photo with his smartphone. Sakamoto casually insists that anyone can lose weight with a little exercise. Boiled then asks how Sakamoto plans to deal with his bounty, warning that the Dondenkai will keep hunting him.
Before Sakamoto can answer, he panics as he spots Aoi eavesdropping. Furious, she immediately demands an explanation about the bounty.
Aoi forces Shin, Sakamoto, and Boiled to sit down at a table for an interrogation. She is upset that Sakamoto hid this from her, even if he only did it to keep her from worrying. Opening the Sakamoto family rulebook, she points to rule number six: “No keeping secrets.” She insists that they face their problems openly rather than hiding them. Sakamoto nods in understanding, and Aoi is finally relieved.
4. How to Stop the Bounty
Later, Aoi, Hana, and Shaotang watch the Sugar Mascot parade. Nearby, Sakamoto, Shin, Boiled, and Obiguro also take in the festivities.
Shin asks Sakamoto how he plans to handle the bounty. Sakamoto bluntly replies that he will simply track down whoever placed it, beat them up, and force them to cancel it.
Obiguro warns that this plan is too reckless; the bounty is managed by the JAA, and the client’s identity is anonymous. Boiled adds that the boss of the Dondenkai has close ties with the association.
Shin asks Boiled to directly ask his boss about the bounty, but Boiled refuses, stating it isn’t his business and that he doesn’t even know where the boss is. With that, Boiled and Obiguro bid Shin and Sakamoto farewell.
Sakamoto then tells Shin that he has a lead on how to find the Dondenkai’s headquarters.
5. The DVD Rental Store
The next day, Shin and Shaotang follow Sakamoto to a new location. Shin is stunned to see that Sakamoto has completely regained his weight overnight. Shaotang brushes it off, noting that given Sakamoto’s massive appetite, it is perfectly normal.
Sakamoto enters a DVD rental store. As he browses the movies, a curious Shin and Shaotang ask what kind of place this really is. “It’s a place that sells information in the form of movies,” Sakamoto explains.
After selecting a DVD, Sakamoto leads them into a private screening room. They watch a documentary detailing the Dondenkai—a hitman organization with over 50 members—which includes the exact location of their headquarters.
After the movie, the store clerk charges Sakamoto 80 million rupiah for the intel. Shocked by the exorbitant price, Shin asks if Sakamoto can actually afford it. Sakamoto reassures him that he still has plenty of savings from his active days in the mafia.
The clerk then asks if Sakamoto is truly prepared to re-enter the underworld, warning him that some of his old acquaintances might still be tied to the Dondenkai. Intrigued, Sakamoto asks what he means. The clerk simply smiles and says that a movie on that topic hasn’t been released yet, so the warning is all he can offer for now.
6. The Order
Four members of the Order are having dinner together at a restaurant. Hyo asks Nagumo if it is true that he met with Sakamoto. Annoyed by Nagumo feigning ignorance, Hyo throws a steak knife at him, but Nagumo effortlessly deflects it with a fork.
Meanwhile, Osaragi warns Shishiba not to eat the onions in his risotto. Realizing there are indeed onions in his meal, Shishiba immediately bashes the head chef standing nearby.
Shortly after, Iriya, a representative from the JAA, approaches the table. He expresses his gratitude and states it is an honor to meet the members of the Order face-to-face.
Hyo cynically replies, “Not everyone is here.” He then asks his colleagues about the four missing members. Shishiba answers, “Three of them rarely show up anyway, but it’s weird that Takamura isn’t here today.”
Iriya hands them a photograph from a crime scene, explaining that a mysterious group has been slaughtering JAA hitmen recently. As the JAA’s representative, he formally requests the Order’s intervention to resolve the crisis on their behalf.
7. Infiltrating the Dondenkai Headquarters
Sakamoto, Shin, and Shaotang arrive at the Dondenkai headquarters. Sakamoto orders them to avoid unnecessary combat during the infiltration.
Hiding in the rafters, the trio observes two syndicate members walking below, discussing Sakamoto’s bounty and Boiled’s defeat. Silently and swiftly, Shin and Sakamoto drop down and neutralize both men in a single strike.
Shin is annoyed because Shaotang didn’t pay attention to the incredibly expensive documentary, meaning she has no idea where the boss is located. Pulling out the notes he took, Shin explains that the boss is on the top floor, requiring them to infiltrate through a second-story window.
Suddenly, a knock echoes on a top-floor window. A guard named Dayat investigates, drawing his gun. When he looks down, Sakamoto—hiding just above the frame—zaps him with a stun gun, knocking him out. Shin and Shaotang tie him up, and the trio rushes toward the boss’s office.
Sensing something wrong, Shin tells Sakamoto that his telepathy can’t detect a single enemy’s thoughts on the entire top floor. However, he does hear Shaotang’s internal voice calling him a “useless sound detector,” prompting him to angrily scold her.
When they finally open the door to the boss’s office, they are met with a gruesome sight: roughly 30 corpses litter the room. Amidst the carnage, a mysterious man sits casually in a chair. It is Nagumo.
Nagumo reveals that he is the one who slaughtered the Dondenkai’s top brass, including the boss whose body now lies right in front of them.
8. Slur
Twirling a knife, Nagumo apologizes and claims he is here to kill Sakamoto as well. With blinding speed, he appears behind Shin, grabs him, and drives the blade into his neck.
However, it is merely an illusion created by Nagumo to mock Shin’s future-predicting telepathy. Nagumo hadn’t stabbed him at all; it was just a sick joke. He bursts into laughter at their terrified expressions. Furious at the prank, Shin and Shaotang immediately start beating him up.
Nagumo clarifies that when he arrived, everyone in the room was already dead. He explains that he is investigating a string of murders that has claimed the lives of over 100 JAA hitmen in the past few months, calling it a massive threat to the association.
He notes that an “X” painted in the victims’ blood is always left at the crime scenes. The Order has identified the mastermind behind the massacre: a man named Slur and his syndicate. When Sakamoto asks if the Order has started to make its move, Nagumo confirms it.
When a curious Shaotang asks what the Order is, Nagumo explains that the JAA is the governing agency for Japan’s assassins. Within it lies the Order—an elite faction comprised of the JAA’s absolute strongest killers. They take direct orders from the JAA to eliminate highly dangerous hitmen, effectively acting as the balancers of the underworld.
Nagumo then reveals that Sakamoto used to be an Order member. Shaotang is shocked, and even Shin is surprised by the revelation. Nagumo warns Sakamoto to be careful of Slur, adding that the hitman-on-hitman killings escalated right after Sakamoto’s bounty went public.
Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location, a man named Uzuki—known as Slur—is seen holding a book. Calmly, he paints an “X” on the wall using the blood of the dozens of corpses scattered across the room.
9. Bounty Hunters Swarm the Convenience Store
Sakamoto, Shin, Shaotang, Hana, and Aoi are gathered at the convenience store register. They react with complete indifference to an armed hitman who storms in with a knife and gun to kill Sakamoto. It has been a busy day filled with bounty hunters, and the family has grown entirely accustomed to the routine.
Without breaking a sweat, Hana presses a button on the register as instructed by Shaotang. A hidden weapon rack drops from the ceiling, smashing the hitman over the head and knocking him out cold.
Meanwhile, Aoi types on her laptop, remarking that it will be a hassle if the assassins keep coming. She understands that getting the bounty revoked won’t be easy. However, she doesn’t seem to mind much—checking the store’s sales report, she notices that their bandages and first-aid supplies are selling out fast.
Shin finds the situation absurd. Adding to the comedy, Hana kindly hands out bandages to three battered hitmen sitting outside the store. Defeated and humbled, the three men can only praise her father’s incredible strength.
10. Team Sakamoto Trains
Sakamoto remembers Nagumo’s warning: if he could only manage a draw against Boiled, he would be in serious danger going forward. Nagumo had stressed that the rust from five years of retirement was far worse than Sakamoto realized.
Taking this to heart, Sakamoto tells Shin and Shaotang that since they don’t know who their next enemy will be, they must train to become stronger.
For his own training, Sakamoto works on his footwork and speed by pedaling a bicycle at breakneck speeds down the street with Hana riding on the back, leaving onlookers stunned and amazed.
Meanwhile, Shin trains his telepathy by reading the minds of customers as they enter the store. He successfully predicts and prepares their orders before they even start looking, leaving the shoppers thoroughly bewildered.
Elsewhere, Shaotang practices her drunken fist technique by downing alcohol. In her drunken state, she accidentally smacks a customer over the head. Hilariously, the unconscious “customer” turns out to be an undercover hitman—a remarkably lucky coincidence!
