1. Tatsu’s Identity

Shaotang applies the antidote drops provided by Tatsu into Shin’s eyes. Sakamoto then interrogates Tatsu, who is tied up and held captive, demanding to know who hired him.

Tatsu confesses he was hired by the Dondenkai syndicate, an underworld organization specializing in dangerous jobs. Shin is baffled by how easily Tatsu leaks mission secrets. However, Tatsu simply states that he doesn’t want to die and, as a part-timer, owes the company no loyalty.

Realizing Tatsu is also a registered JAA member, Shin flashes his own JAA ID card. When Shaotang asks what the JAA is, Shin explains that it’s the organization managing Japan’s professional hitmen, numbering only about 400 individuals. He adds that both he and Sakamoto are former members, noting that despite Shaotang mocking the ID for looking like a standard driver’s license, it is actually incredibly difficult to obtain.

Tatsu then asks if it’s true that Sakamoto used to be a member of the Order. Before Sakamoto can answer, Aoi and Hana walk over to them. Covering up the situation, Shin tells Aoi that Tatsu—who played the villain in the Sugar Park mascot show—is just practicing an escape trick with ropes. Satisfied, Sakamoto, Shin, Shaotang, Aoi, and Hana head off to eat their packed lunches, leaving Tatsu tied up and alone.

2. Shin Loses His Esper Abilities

While they eat, Shin reveals that his mind feels completely blank due to the antidote. As a side effect, he has lost his ability to read minds for the day—something that has never happened to him before.

Moments later, Aoi and Hana return with drinks. Aoi senses something off about Shaotang, Shin, and Sakamoto, asking if they are hiding something. The three instantly panic. Aoi assumes they are either disappointed by the small lunch portions or feeling unwell. Meanwhile, Hana looks heartbroken, thinking her father isn’t enjoying their trip to the amusement park.

Feigning intense enthusiasm, Shin quickly denies this, insisting he is having a great time. Shaotang backs him up, jokingly adding that Shin was so excited he almost fell off the roller coaster. Sakamoto nods repeatedly in frantic agreement. Relieved, Aoi smiles sheepishly, admitting her misunderstanding, and happily invites everyone to the next ride.

3. Boiled & Obiguro

Boiled and Obiguro arrive at Sugar Park. Boiled warns Obiguro not to underestimate the mission by assuming it will be a quick, easy job. Suddenly, Boiled yells at Obiguro, startling him. He orders his partner to watch his step to avoid crushing a trail of ants, quoting his personal motto: “Never take a life other than the target’s.” Internally, Obiguro thinks Boiled is incredibly cool.

The pair eventually find Tatsu in a restroom. When Tatsu asks why they are at the park, Boiled states they are here to finish his botched job. Obiguro wraps an arm around Tatsu’s shoulder, casually reminding him that continued failure might cost him his head. Obiguro then forces Tatsu to thank them for the bailout, and left with no choice, Tatsu complies.

Obiguro expresses his excitement at finally meeting a legend like Sakamoto. Meanwhile, Boiled scratches an itchy scar on his face. Obiguro assumes Sakamoto gave him the scar, but Boiled quickly clarifies he got it from slipping and falling. Tatsu stares at the eccentric duo. He knows that despite their ridiculous demeanor, they reportedly slaughtered over 100 people during a battle in the Balkans two years ago. As the Dondenkai’s most brutal members, Tatsu is certain Sakamoto will die by their hands.

4. The Haunted House

Aoi and Hana drag Sakamoto, Shin, and Shaotang into the haunted house attraction. Upon entering, a ghost nurse greets them, explaining they have stepped into the Ward of Wailing—a terrifying place haunted by the souls of patients mutilated by a deranged doctor.

Shaotang screams hysterically when a zombie jumps out at her. Aoi praises the attraction’s quality, calling it the best in Japan, while Shin admits the detailed interior makes it genuinely creepy. Suddenly, a zombie swings a knife at Shin from behind. Shin ducks just in time, and the zombie charges straight at Sakamoto instead.

Smiling and thoroughly enjoying the spooky thrills, Aoi and Hana hug each other in excitement. In that brief moment of distraction, they completely miss Sakamoto intercepting the zombie’s attack and delivering a rapid-fire barrage of punches. The zombie is knocked out cold, left frozen on its feet.

Shin watches in awe, realizing Sakamoto faked being scared to neutralize the threat without alerting his wife. Wordlessly, Sakamoto hands Shin a hitman’s license he pulled from the zombie’s pocket. Shin isn’t too worried, brushing the attacker off as just a rookie.

Meanwhile, in the security room, Boiled and Obiguro monitor the group’s progress via CCTV. Touching up his makeup, Obiguro is impressed by Sakamoto’s agility despite his heavy frame and expresses a desire to see him fight seriously. However, he decides to leave Sakamoto to Boiled, calling him Sakamoto’s old friend. At that word, Boiled crushes the top off his drink bottle in a tight grip, downs the beverage, and vehemently denies being Sakamoto’s friend.

5. Boiled & Sakamoto’s Past

Boiled’s memories flash back to his time at the JCC, an exclusive academy for aspiring hitmen. At 15, Boiled approached a 14-year-old Sakamoto. He was deeply impressed after watching Sakamoto effortlessly beat down all their classmates during training. Instead of seeking revenge, Boiled wanted to hang out, intrigued by the prodigy.

Sakamoto ignored him, continuing his training by firing flawlessly at his targets, which only deepened Boiled’s admiration. From then on, Boiled shadowed Sakamoto, feeling a kindred spirit between them. Outside of missions and classes, Boiled was always by his side, whether hitting the supermarket or relaxing in the hot springs.

One day in the cafeteria, Boiled mentioned it was Valentine’s Day—a time for giving chocolates, a sentiment he felt didn’t apply to ruthless hitmen-in-training like them. Suddenly, a female student walked up and handed Sakamoto a box of chocolates, leaving Boiled stunned. His shock compounded when Sakamoto opened his locker, and a mountain of chocolates spilled out.

Nagumo then strolled in, pushing a cart overflowing with even more chocolates, casually mentioning they were all gifts from the female students. Nagumo glanced at a slack-jawed Boiled and asked Sakamoto, “Who is this guy?”

“I don’t know,” Sakamoto replied casually. Crushed, Boiled realized their supposed bond meant absolutely nothing to Sakamoto. As Sakamoto walked away with Nagumo, he glanced back at Boiled and said, “Take the chocolates if you want them.”

Back in the present, Boiled reflects on how Sakamoto dismissed him. He concludes that Sakamoto is fundamentally different from him. When Obiguro assumes Boiled is out to settle an old grudge, Boiled firmly denies it, claiming he no longer cares about the past.

6. The Zombie Swarm

Aoi and Hana smile brightly, fully enjoying the zombie jump scares. Shin is amazed by Sakamoto’s daughter, who is completely fearless and eagerly anticipating the next ghost. He mocks a trembling Shaotang next to him: “Unlike Hana, Shaotang clearly has no guts.”

Shin then notices Shaotang has been taking swigs from a bottle the entire time. When questioned, she claims it is the “Lu family’s luck potion.” Seeing her slurred speech and flushed face, a suspicious Shin checks the bottle and realizes it’s pure sake.

Just then, heavy pounding echoes from a nearby door. In a drunken daze, Shaotang casually opens it without a second thought. Instantly, a massive horde of zombie actors swarms them. Despite the ensuing chaos, Hana and Aoi remain unfazed. Believing it is all part of the show, they continue to revel in the terrifying spectacle.

7. Boiled Batters Sakamoto

Amidst the zombie swarm, Boiled suddenly appears and throws a heavy punch that Sakamoto narrowly blocks. Their clash of strength sends them crashing into another room. Without wasting a second, Sakamoto hurls a card at Boiled, who swiftly tilts his head to dodge the lethal projectile.

Boiled asks if Sakamoto remembers him. “No,” Sakamoto replies bluntly. Rolling his shoulder, Sakamoto promises to show Boiled hell, while Boiled vows to beat his memory back into him. Veins bulging on his forehead, Sakamoto glares at Boiled and demands, “Where is my family?” Boiled simply turns his back on him and casually tells him to find them himself.

Sakamoto lunges, throwing a punch at Boiled’s back. Without turning around, Boiled blindly tosses a Super Ball Bomb (SBB) that detonates perfectly in Sakamoto’s face, the blast staggering him. When Sakamoto leaps into the air for a dropkick, Boiled merely ducks, letting the attack sail over him.

Mercilessly, Boiled unleashes a volley of SBBs. The bombs bounce with pinpoint accuracy and explode all around Sakamoto, knocking him mid-air before he crashes to the floor. In a flash, Boiled pivots and drives a brutal punch into Sakamoto’s face, slamming him even harder into the ground.

8. Obiguro vs. Shaotang

Shin finds Aoi and Hana fast asleep on the floor. Shortly after, Obiguro and his men approach, sneering at them and dismissing the group as weaklings that won’t give him any real satisfaction.

Suddenly, Shaotang leaps in and kicks Obiguro in the face, sending him stumbling back. Swaying in a drunken haze, she challenges him, boasting she will demonstrate a martial arts technique passed down through her family for 4,000 years. She throws a punch, but Obiguro vanishes instantly. Reappearing, he effortlessly catches her fist, grabs her by the head, and shakes her violently. The motion worsens her drunkenness, and she collapses to the floor.

Obiguro boasts that he could slaughter Shin and Shaotang in an instant, but decides to play a game to make things interesting. He orders his men to strap Shin to a bed. Wanting to see Shaotang fight seriously, Obiguro gives her an ultimatum: she must land one hit on him every 10 seconds. If she fails, his men will butcher Shin with a chainsaw.

As Obiguro flips an hourglass to start the game, a terrified Shin bursts into tears. Shaotang begins crying too, apologizing to Shin and wailing that the task is impossible. Her drunken, sobbing breakdown leaves both Shin and Obiguro utterly stunned.

9. Sakamoto Remembers Boiled

Looking down at Sakamoto sprawled on the floor, Boiled expresses genuine sadness at the massive gap in their strength. Five years of peaceful retirement have made the once-legendary hitman pathetically weak.

But Sakamoto refuses to stay down. He rises and attempts a sneak attack from behind. Without looking, Boiled effortlessly knocks him back to the ground with a single SBB blast.

Laying battered on the floor, Sakamoto’s mind flashes back to his days at the JCC. He recalls eating in the cafeteria with Nagumo and the guy he had completely forgotten. He finally realizes that Boiled actually is an old acquaintance.

In the memory, an enthusiastic Boiled tells them he modified his boxing gloves with dynamite, using the explosive force to amplify his punches. He proudly named his creation “RDP.” Sakamoto also remembers glancing at a piece of paper next to Boiled, which detailed the chemical composition of the SBB explosives and the exact mechanics of the RDP gloves.

10. Sakamoto’s Slim Form

Back in the fight, Boiled grows more aggressive, raining a relentless barrage of punches on a defenseless Sakamoto. Between strikes, Boiled confesses how much he used to admire Sakamoto—the flawless prodigy who never failed a mission and had women fawning over him.

Now, Boiled is disgusted by the reality of Sakamoto’s weakness. He mocks the overweight retiree, claiming he will never be able to protect his family in this state. Fueled by rage, Boiled unleashes a devastating RDP punch. The explosive impact sends Sakamoto flying backward, violently smashing into a concrete wall.

Assuming Sakamoto is dead, Boiled turns his back, lights a cigarette, and mutters a final goodbye. But suddenly, a chilling sensation washes over him—as if four invisible blades just pierced his back. His cigarette slips from his lips as an overwhelming, suffocating bloodlust fills the room.

Cold and sharp, Sakamoto’s voice cuts through the tension: “10 grams of potassium perchlorate, 4.8 grams of ammonium nitrate, 20 grams of p-thrite, 3.5 grams of nitro GK.”

Boiled turns around in shock, realizing Sakamoto has just recited the exact chemical formula of his bombs. Standing in the debris is Sakamoto, his body having burned through its fat to return to its slim, legendary hitman physique. Staring at Boiled with absolute resolve, he rolls his shoulder and says calmly, “I remember you now, Boiled… Now, I’m going to fight you seriously.”
