This story begins during the Konoha Academy’s class trip to the Hidden Mist Village. Before leaving, Boruto promised to bring back a souvenir for Himawari.
However, upon his return, he realized he had completely forgotten. Unable to bear the hopeful look on his little sister’s face, Boruto lied, claiming he had left the gift at a friend’s house and would retrieve it soon.
He frantically asked his classmates if anyone had spare cinnamon candy, but no one did. Seeing his panic, Sarada mentioned a local convenience store in the Hidden Leaf that sold imported goods from other villages. Boruto and Mitsuki sprinted to the shop.
